Kanban Gets Dashboards, Notifications, and CSV Export

8 May 2026 Ana Loga new feature live in pre-prod

Clip

Summary

A lot landed in Kanban this week. Ana showed a board-level dashboard with total tasks, completion rate, team workload overview, task type breakdown, and priority splits — exportable as a PDF. Feed notifications now fire when you're assigned a task, when a due date is missed or approaching, when you're added to a board, or when someone mentions you in a comment. You can also hide boards from your landing page and export your full task list as CSV or JSON. All of it is live in pre-prod and heading to prod soon.

Hello! So today I'm showing the features that have been implemented over the past week in Kanban. Starting with the first one, we have implemented a notification system so that users receive notifications in feed for various actions.

For example, when a user has been assigned to a task, or when a due date is missed for a task, or when due date is approaching for a task, or when the user has been added or removed to a board, or when a user is mentioned in a task comment. So these are all the cases for now, but after the QA is finished, we may refine some of the notification or maybe find other cases. So this all return also links to the specific views.

For example, if I click on... This one. It will open the task for the due date that was missed and.

This one. will open the board that I was added to. For the next feature, we have implemented the ability to hide and unhide boards from the landing page. So we have integrated this view. where the hidden boards will appear.

So for example, if I'm not interested in seeing any of these boards, I can just hide them like this and they will appear in this section from where I can unhide them as well. Next, the third feature is the export tasks feature, which allows us to export the tasks from our board in the same format that is preserved from the import tasks feature, so we can reuse the exported file. For importing tasks later, so we can export them as CSV. or as a JSON format.

Like this. And the last feature that we integrated is the board level dashboard, where we can see different stats for the board. We can see information regarding tasks, the total number, the tests that were not started yet, the tests that are in progress, the completed ones, the overdue ones.

Also, we have a section where we can see the average tasks progress based on the total tasks from the board. We can also see a completion rate for the total tasks. Then we have this section for the team workload overview, where we can see based on each team member that has tasks assigned, we can see their progress.

Then we have another section where we can see, based on the total number of tasks, how many of them are, for example, tasks or bugs or spikes, depending on what task types we have defined on our board. And also, we can see the priorities, but these are all only based on the active workloads. So we can see based on the not completed tasks, we can see their priorities. remaining.

And the last thing we can do here is that we can export this dashboard as a PDF so we can have this information also in text format with all the information. And this would be everything for today. Thank you.
